CAELESTIS is happy to be participating in the 13th EASN International Conference on the topic of “Innovation in Aviation & Space for Opening New Horizons”. Taking place this week, from 5th to 8th September, in Salerno, Italy, the EASN conference is set to include a variety of plenary talks from key figures in Europe’s Aviation and Space sectors, along with academia, industry, research community, and policymakers.
CAELESTIS will be participating in a workshop on Digitalization of Manufacturing, Sustainable Manufacturing in the Aviation & Space sectors. Organized by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) , the workshop includes various other esteemed projects researching the future of aviation, including SUSTAINair, GENEX, INFINITE, MORPHO, and DOMMINIO. This panel of experts aim to share invaluable knowledge exchange, and – like EASN – to shape the future of aviation and space innovation.
CAELESTIS project co-ordinators, AIMEN, will be introducing the project, its goals and will be focused in the digital manufacturing aspects of the project: sensors monitoring and simulations, to explain overall advantages in the aeronautical industry.
Furthermore, the conference offers scientists and researchers a stage to present their latest innovations to a global audience. During specialized sessions guided by renowned international experts, they can share knowledge and foster partnerships delving into the latest emerging developments in aviation – and space.
With its primary focus on Dissemination and Exploitation, the conference aims to highlight the achievements of the European aviation and space research community, encouraging discussions about current trends, future needs, and potential collaborations among participants. The stage will also be set for policy development projects to present strategic priorities for the European aviation sector.
